Translucent Serendipity

November 16, 2009
Bombed out casas mark the Andalusian way
A new realization sprung forth from the fray
Masses of nameless faces (images in my mind to stay)
The aged dream of peace still inspires me today.
Translucent serendipity flowing ever fore
Cycles of seeming circles dragging to the floor
The flower of humanity bleeding at the core
Mindless silly madness killing by the score.
Duplicity becomes sterile
Like planting pots in barrels
Justice is not only blind
She refrains not the carol of equality.
Yet still the water flows
Ever still falls the snow in drives
Does mankind’s conscience continue to grow?
(‘Tis doubtful, it’s not what his actions show)
